Exemplary customer service is a hallmark of Symmetry Physical Therapy. When you contact us by phone or through email, you’ll find a friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable voice on the other end of the line. Our goal is to simplify the process of coming for therapy, so that you can focus on getting better.
To schedule an appointment, it’s easiest to give us a call. That way we can help you to make sure that everything you need to know is covered before you arrive at our office. Here are some things to consider:
In Texas, prospective patients can receive a physical therapy EVALUATION without a prescription. However, currently a prescription is needed in order to receive TREATMENT. A prescription can come from a medical doctor, podiatrist, dentist or chiropractor. Sometimes this requires an office visit, but other times you can request this by phone. We can help you to determine how best to handle this requirement for your individual situation.
Every insurance plan is different. We can help you to determine what your specific plan’s benefits are for physical therapy services. We will be communicating with your insurance representative prior to your first therapy visit to request a quote of your plan benefits. We will also work with your physician as needed to acquire any authorization or pre-approvals that may be necessary. We recommend that you also contact your insurance provider to have them explain your individual therapy benefits.
Symmetry Physical Therapy is contracted with most insurance plans (except Medicaid). We also accept patients on a ‘self-pay’ basis. Co-payments and deductibles are collected at the time of service. Cash, checks, credit or debit cards, are all accepted.
Before you arrive for your first therapy visit, we collect information regarding your current injury and your medical history, so that we can better prepare for your treatments. The forms that we utilize are available on our website. Or, if it’s easier, we will be happy to email them to you.
Parking at Symmetry Physical Therapy is free and readily available on either side of our building. If you need to change when you arrive, there are facilities available for your convenience. Please bring or wear comfortable clothing that will allow free movement and will also enable your therapist to see and maneuver the area that is bothering you.
Please plan 60-75 minutes for your first visit with Symmetry Physical Therapy. This visit will include a comprehensive history and examination, as well as an initial treatment. We want you to walk out of our office the first day feeling better. We also want to make sure that you leave with a good understanding of your individual goals and treatment plan.
