Welcoming Brad Bevil and Lily Swann

Symmetry Welcomes New Staff

Two physical therapists have joined our team in recent months. Welcome, Brad and Lily! Here’s a little more about these two new Symmetry staff members:

B Bevil Headshot 2016

We’re thrilled to welcome Brad Bevil to the practice. Brad earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas in 2008 and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from Texas State University in 2015. He is excited to be joining Symmetry Physical Therapy and about the company’s commitment to clinical excellence and outstanding patient care. He is currently pursuing his Manual Therapy Certification (MTC) to enhance his clinical skills, with a focus toward obtaining a Board Certification in Orthopaedics (OCS).
Having been a physical therapy patient multiple times during his college baseball career, Brad understands the frustrations that come along with being injured or in pain. He enjoys working with patients to establish an individual rehab plan that addresses their goals, and is passionate about helping others improve their level of physical function, whether that be preparing to get back on the sports field, returning to work or simply being able to enjoy life.

Brad currently lives in Georgetown, Texas with his wife, Lesley, and son Kaleb. He enjoys being active in his local church, traveling and spending time with his family. In his free time he likes playing in golf tournaments with the Central Texas Golf Association, running the trails in Georgetown, catching up on his reading list or heading to the movie theater.

Lily Swann

Lily Swann, PT, DPT is an Austin native and the newest member of Symmetry’s team. Lily earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from San Jose State University in San Jose, California in 2011, as well as a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Texas State University in 2016. She is currently working on a Manual Therapy Certification with the Institute for Athlete Regeneration, and plans to pursue a Fellowship in Sports and Orthopedic Physical Therapy.

Lily has enjoyed being physically active since she was a child. Her gymnastics career began as a youth in Austin with the AcroTex competitive team and continued through college. Lily received a full scholarship for NCAA gymnastics at San Jose State University. Her first experience with physical therapy came when she sustained two serious injuries as a gymnast. Lily was impressed by and grateful for her physical therapist’s ability to enable her to return to sport while also displaying empathy during her recovery. Lily is passionate about bringing the same qualities to her physical therapy patients. Having retired from competitive gymnastics, Lily now enjoys spending her free time rock climbing, running, traveling, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family.

We look forward to expanding our volume of patients with the addition of these new physical therapists!
