Understanding the Path of Pain

Sarah Groman, SPT is a doctoral physical therapy student at Texas State University who recently spent 8 weeks completing a clinical rotation with Symmetry.  Sarah is particularly interested in pain science.  While she was in residence at Symmetry, she paired her talents as a past Art major in undergraduate school with the expanding knowledge she has been gaining through her graduate physical therapy program to produce a cartoon rendering of the pathway of pain from the sensory system to the brain.  The result is too lengthy and intricate to be published via this newsletter.  But for those that are interested, know that you can check out the project in its entirety in Symmetry’s waiting area.  Thanks, Sarah, for your interest in this topic and for your considerable effort in the production of the schematic!
