2019 Year End Reflection

As 2019 comes to a close, it is traditional to reflect on the past 12 months.  Here at Symmetry, a lot has happened this year.  We’ve expanded our staff – welcoming Laurie in the front office, as well as Shelby, our newest physical therapist.  Texas law changed with House Bill 29 to enable patients to more quickly access physical therapy services for short intervals.  We finalized plans to expand Symmetry’s clinic space next year into a brand new building. There have been several big trips and a new baby.  There have also been somber moments, as we’ve bid farewell to close family and friends whose life journey ended this year.

Throughout the year, we’ve been grateful to have had the chance to be a part of our patients’ paths towards more optimal health and wellness.  You’ve been on expeditions all over the world, started new jobs and/or returned to work, run, biked, and swum races, held and hugged new family members, and accomplished many other milestones.  We’re proud of you!  We are appreciative of the opportunity to collaborate with each of you as a member of your health care team.  Thank you for being you!

A closing-of-the-year thought from poet Edith Lovejoy Pierce… “We will open the book. Its pages are blank. We are going to put words on them ourselves. The book is called Opportunity and its first chapter is New Year’s Day.”

Symmetry wishes you the best for 2020!  Happy New Year!
